Here are five reasons why you should work with us.
We handle the research. All you have to do is tell us what you want and how you want to do it, and we'll tell you the best way to make it happen.
We're destination experts. When you plan a trip with us, you're planning a trip with someone who's lived, experienced, and learned about the place you want to visit.
For example, let's say you're planning a family ski trip. Spencer has skied over 800 days in the US at over 30 different resorts. He'll tell you that Snowbird is as impressive as it looks if you're an expert (and the best hot chocolate in Utah is at the summit lodge), and getting up early for first tram at Jackson Hole is worth it (Best first run on a pow day: Rendezvous Bowl -> Alta 1 -> Lower Sublette Ridge). But he also knows that if you're just starting out, you'll have a lot more fun at Steamboat (Thunderhead chair has tons of great long easy runs for practicing those turns) or Deer Valley (Their kids ski school programs are some of the best in the country, and we've got VIP perks for you at quite a few hotels).
No one at Costco Travel or Priceline is going to have the kind of destination knowledge that we can offer you. And for what we don't know, we've got a partner network of over nine thousand agents who have their own niches of expertise - together, we're an encyclopedia of travel knowledge at your service.
We handle all of your arrangements, itineraries, and organization. We'll help you find the best deal on where you want to go and often can leverage exclusive discounts only available to travel professionals. Once we've locked in your arrangements, we'll provide you one clear and concise itinerary with your bookings so it's easy to keep track. If you need to make changes or have special requests, we take care of them all. We can even make restaurant recommendations and activity suggestions.
We're here to help make things right when things go wrong, whatever they may be. Don't wait on hold on vacation! Call, text, or email us, and we'll take it from there. Here are some examples of how we can help.
Blizzard coming on your travel day? We'll find you a fully refundable backup flight (before everyone realizes there's going to be an issue) so you aren't waiting for days to be rebooked if your original one gets cancelled.
Flight delayed and you miss your connection? We'll get you rebooked fast using our direct lines, and if needed, quickly secure you a hotel room before they're all sold out. We monitor all of our clients flights and can often tell there is going to be an issue before the airline tells you there is one, and when time is of the essence, that advance notice matters.
Hotel issue? We'll call our dedicated contacts at the property and get it straightened out for you, and take action if it isn't handled appropriately.
Weather impacting your cruise ship's return to port? We'll find you new flights home while you're out enjoying your bonus vacation. We'll even call your boss and tell them you're going to be late to work (only if you want us to of course!).
Medical emergency? We'll tell you where to go, change your arrangements as needed, be your advocate, and if necessary, take point on coordinating an evacuation.
For most trips, we don't charge a planning fee. What other professionals can you leverage for free?
For some agents, this creates a conflict of interest, where their only intention is to book with the partners that create the most commission for an itinerary. For us, we firmly believe we’ll make far more money in the long run by booking you the trip that’s the best trip for your wants and needs, even if it’s less lucrative for us now, because the value of your future business and referrals far outweigh the short term gain from pushing you into the highest possible commission for us.
To that end, when the best best possible trip for your needs is mostly or exclusively with partners we don’t have a relationship with, we may charge a flat planning fee. This will be discussed at our initial consultation, and you’ll never pay anything without explicitly agreeing to it. We do this because we’d always rather find you the right adventure than push you into something that’s “good enough” because it pays us, but we do have to make enough money to fuel our ski addictions.
